The Pharisees were not satisfied with Jesus' answer. They didnt like the fact that God's Word said they couldn't divorce for any reason. So they try and stump Jesus with another question. They asked Him why Moses commanded them to divorce their wives. Jesus answers their question by showing them that they had twisted the Scripture to fit their own agendas.
