Does the church of today resemble the early church in beliefs and practice, or does it more closely resemble the state church of the Roman Catholic and the Reformation? While there are some out there who are solidly against the church yoking with the state by incorporating and becoming a 501(c)(3), they more resemble what they claim to oppose in their beliefs and actions. While they may not be incorporated they hold to doctrines that are direct opposition to those handed down by the Apostles, preaching itching ear doctrines and even claiming these damnable heresies as “essential doctrine”. It, as you will find in this study, is the same old doctrine rejected by the early Christians as Gnostic heresy.
Listen for yourself, and ask yourself, are we closer to the true teachings of the Apostles 1900 years later than those who were taught by them and by those who were directly taught by them?
Are you as a Christian satisfied with your Christian life or is there more to it than believing the right thing and living your life like everyone else?
Is it possible that a false gospel that encourages a falling away by promising that you can never lose what you have gained, while hypocritically preaching holiness at the same time is being promoted as THE true gospel?
Does such a teaching turn the grace of God into a license to sin? If we are in the last days, where is the falling away? While mega “Churches” are packed and seemingly prospering? Are they rich or or they poor, blind and miserable?
If Jesus were to write about your church and about you personally do you imagine he is well pleased with you or would he correct you? Would you be humble enough to receive his correction? Even from a nobody?
