Love one another.Be under obligation to no one--the only obligation you have is to "LOVE" one another. Whoever does this has obeyed the law. The comandments; " Do not commit adultery, Do not steal, Donot desire what belongs to someone else"--all these and any other besides, are summed up in the one commandment, " Love your neighbour as you love yourself". We know very well that if we love someone, we will never do them wrong; to love then is to obey the whole law.We must do this because we know that the tie has coe for us to wake up from our sleep. For the moment when we shall be saved is closer now than it was when we first believed. The night is nearly over, the day is almost here. Let us stop doing the things that belong to the dark and let us take the weapons for fighting in the light. Let us conduct ourselves properly; as people who live in the light of day no orgies or drunkennes no immorality or indecency, no fighting, no jealousy. But take up the weapons of the Lord Jesus and stop paying attention to your sinful nature and satisfying its desires. |
